The SCVS Fellows and Incoming Fellows programs are notable events for our younger colleagues as they prepare for their practices. In addition, attendees to these sessions receive both travel reimbursement and complimentary registration to the main SCVS Annual Symposium. The SCVS Council and Program Committee encourage you to have your Fellows participate in these programs and information on each will be accessible via the 2019 program website.

In addition to the above, the SCVS will also offer the traditional Young Vascular Surgeons (YVS) Program and the Vascular Top Gun Competition; the YVS event is for our colleagues who are newly established in practice, and the Top Gun program provides simulation experience on multiple platforms. Registration for these programs will also be available via the main meeting website.

The educational offerings of the SCVS, particularly those of the programs noted above, are heavily supported by our industry partners and, on behalf of the SCVS, I would like to thank them again for their important financial contributions as we collectively work for the betterment of our specialty and our patients.

As the Membership Committee and Council have been doing over the past few years, we will be continuing the aggressiveness of our SCVS membership campaign as having such membership is highly beneficial for our colleagues; please reach out to your associates and promote Membership in the SCVS if they are not already enrolled, or if they are presently a Candidate Member and may now be eligible for Active status.
