Promed was the first company in the UK to offer EndoVenous Laser Ablation (EVLA) equipment and training and this has subsequently become a standard method of treating varicose veins. It was also the first and remains the only company to offer equipment for Spinal Endoscopy, a minimally invasive approach for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic low back pain.

Currently, the developing urology market provides exciting opportunities with the requirement for surgical lasers to treat urinary calculi and Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
