Overview
This live broadcast brings together an internationally-recognised faculty to discuss the burden and management of hemorrhoidal disease.
Chair Prof Ilbrahim Ethem Gecim (Ankara University Medical School, Turkey) will be joined by Prof Dieter Hahnloser (University Hospital Lausanne, Switzerland) and Prof George Abdelfady Nashed Aiad (Kasr Al-aini-Cairo University, Egypt) to explore the epidemiology and diagnosis of hemorrhoidal disease, the effectiveness of surgical management and the availability of new and innovative treatment strategies.
Combining vast clinical experience, the faculty will share case-based scenarios to provide insight to patient selection, treatment considerations and outcomes, and engage in a live audience Q&A.

Mr Sanjay Patel is a Vascular Consultant at the UK Vein Clinic. He graduated from the University of Manchester Medical School in 2001, and trained in Manchester and Nottingham before undertaking research at King’s College London.

Vanessa Livingstone is Lead Nurse and Director of Clinical Services at UK Vein Clinic.

Nisha Madan
Dr Nisha Madan is an experienced General and Vascular Practitioner. Following her graduation form the University of Manchester Medical School in 1998, Dr Madan started her career as a GP partner in a practice in Cheshire before joining a practice in South London.

Ed Sideso
Mr Ed Sideso is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon in the Thames Valley Vascular Network. He qualified from the University of London in 1999 and undertook surgical training and vascular surgery research in Oxford.
