Five-year outcomes assessing varying degrees of neck angulation with up to 10mm infrarenal seal show successful results in both short-neck and high-neck cohorts, with equivalent effectiveness to most EVAR devices and no untoward events or complications.

Dr Robert Rhee (Maimonides Medical Center, New York, US) joins us to discuss the outcomes from a prospective, IDE, FDA-approved study investigating neck angulation with up to 10mm infrarenal seal in a cohort of patients with challenging anatomy. The study included two arms, a short-neck arm with up to 60-degree angulation and a high-risk arm with 60 to 90-degree angulation.

Interview Questions:
1. What are the current unmet needs in neck angulation management, and what was the importance behind the study?
2. What was the study design and patient population?
3. What were the key findings?
4. What are the take-home messages for practice?
5. Are there any further thoughts on the subject and what kind of patients will ultimately benefit?

Recorded remotely from New York, 2025.
