Gloria Salazar
Associate Professor of Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology Vice Chair of Diversity and Health Equity
An accomplished radiologist, Dr Gloria Salazar is the Division Chief of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR), Vice Chair of Diversity and Health Equity, and Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of North Carolina.
Distinguished as a Fellow of the Society of Interventional Radiology (FSIR), Dr Gloria Salazar has an extensive background in women's health advocacy and has established herself as a subspecialty leader/expert and practitioner volunteer for underserved populations. She played an instrumental role in developing the Program for Fibroids at MGH, which provides a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach to treating fibroids in women, improving patient-centered care, and informed decision-making.
