Stephen Black
University of Witwatersrand Johannesburg, South Africa, Consultant Vascular Surgeon Professor of Venous Surgery
Prof Stephen Black is a Consultant Vascular Surgeon at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and a Professor of Venous Surgery at Kings College, London. He is the Site Lead for Surgery at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital and the Co-R&D Lead for the Cardiovascular Directorate (Cardiology, Cardio-Thoracic and Vascular Surgery). He was Clinical Lead for Vascular Surgery for 4 years (2019-2023).
Dr Black is the Co-founder & Medical Director of UK Vein Clinic. In private practice he undertakes medical consultations and minimally invasive procedures at 150 Harley Street, London, UK. For complex work, Dr Black's private practice is at Harley Street HCA Clinic in London and Ramsey Ashtead Hospital in Surrey.

Gregory Magee
Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery
Dr Magee received his BA in Molecular Biophysics & Biochemistry from Yale University and his MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford. He earned his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in 2006.
Dr Magee underwent his general surgery residency at Stanford. During his two research years, Dr. Magee completed the Stanford Biodesign Surgical Innovation Fellowship, developing devices that formed the basis for two venture-funded start-up companies, both of which are currently conducting clinical trials. He continues to pursue his goal of improving medical care through technological innovation.
Dr Magee completed a surgical critical care and trauma surgery fellowship at USC from 2013–2015 and a vascular surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado Denver in 2017, where he developed a broad experience in complex endovascular repair of the entire aorta using tailor-made fenestrated grafts. Bijan Modarai
Consultant Vascular & Endovascular Surgeon
Dr Bijan Modarai qualified from the United Medical and Dental Schools of Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, UK.
He obtained a PhD in 2006 and completed his higher surgical training as an NIHR academic clinical lecturer, spending a year as an endovascular fellow at The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney.
Since his appointment as consultant vascular and endovascular surgeon at Guy's and St Thomas' in 2011, Mr Modarai has co-managed the largest UK practice in complex (branched and fenestrated) endovascular aortic repairs.
Gregory Stanley
Cardiovascular Surgeon
Dr Gregory Stanley is a vascular surgeon in Charlotte, North Carolina and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center and Atrium Health-University City. He received his medical degree from University of Texas Health Science Center San Antonio Joe and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine and has been in practice between 11-20 years.
