Dr Prakash Saha is currently a Clinical Senior Lecturer and Consultant Vascular Surgeon at King’s College London and St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. He undertook his Vascular Surgical training in London, working as the NIHR Clinical Lecturer in Vascular Surgery at St. Thomas’ Hospital and completed his training at the St. George’s Vascular Institute. He spent further time as a Senior Vascular Fellow at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney before returning back to practice in the UK.

Following the completion of his Wellcome Trust funded PhD in 2012, Dr Saha has remained active in research and been awarded research grants from the Royal College of Surgeons, Royal Society of Medicine, Academy of Medical Sciences and the British Heart Foundation. He has published in over 50 peer-reviewed journals and received prizes from the Vascular Society of Great Britain and Ireland, an International Young Investigator Award from the International Society of Fibrinolysis and Proteolysis, and an Early Career Investigator Award from the American Heart Association.
