Diabetic foot ulcers (DFU) are a complication of diabetes, and are highly morbid, often a critical step in patient's pathway to lower extremity amputation. In this discussion, Dr Hicks and Dr McDermott discuss those whose DFU are impacted by socioeconomic disadvantages, and those who are at excessive risk of LFU.
